Resume Tip - Contact Information

Hello everyone!

When applying for a job you will always be asked to submit, attach, copy & paste or any other way to turn in your resume to review. Now I will say this again and again but not everyone is an amazing resume writer. I will even admit that not even my resume is all that impressive. Depending on what kind of industry, position, and level the job you are applying for resumes are viewed differently. We don't expect an entry level high school graduate to have a resume comparable to someone who have years of experience applying for an executive position. However, one of things that I notice time after time with all of the resumes that I receive regardless of the position that they are applying for is the amount of people who list INCORRECT CONTACT INFORMATION.

Even if your resume was amazing and you are perfect for the job, what good is it if the employer can't contact you?

A lot of times people will list their address, email, and phone number. The most popular way for an employer to contact their candidates is by calling them and this is the most changed information out of the the rest.

Alright some of you may be thinking if your resume is not up to par you may not be contacted. Well you're wrong. Sometimes resumes may not be amazing but when there are a limited number of people applying you just might be contacted to see how well you during the phone interview. Which is where it's your time to shine, but that's a completely different topic. All in all, it comes down to your contact information. If we can't contact you, we can't move forward with you.

I hope this encourages you to TRIPLE check your contact information before submitting your resume because it is commonly overlooked.

Alba Botanica - Aloe & Green Tea Oil-free Moisturizer Review

Hello everyone!

I've just finished using the Alba Botanica - Aloe & Green Tea Oil-free Moisturizer and it lasted me about 3-4 months.
Price - $17.99

Description - It has certified organic aloe vera and green tea ingredients. This oil-free moisturizer is used to help replenish your skin and protect it from dehydration leaving you with a healthy complexion. Ingredients used are great for not only moisturizing your skin but help repair your skin as well as protecting it from free radicals. Great for all skin types.

Pros - Affordable. Softens your skin. Absorbs quickly. Not greasy. Moisturizes. Doesn't irritate your skin. Great for all skin types.

Cons - Doesn't improve my skin over time.

Repurchase - Yes!

Overview - Prior to using this moisturizer I've had some pretty bad acne and once I had switched over to this from the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizer my skin has definitely improved and my acne resided. I do still break out but I don't get any big nasty painful ones, instead now I just have minor small pimples here and there. Definitely a great moisturizer. I will definitely consider repurchasing this product but it isn't something that I must have. I feel that because my skin is still so acne prone I want to get rid of my acne 100% first. It's nothing against this product, I just personally want something that will fulfill my current needs. If I wanted a good moisturizer this product is definitely the way to go. My skin did improve from using this product but after a while it pretty much remained the same so at the moment I want something that will continue to enhance the texture, appearance, and health of my skin.

If you have any questions please feel free to let me know!

I hope you enjoy this!

Spring / Bridesmaid Nail Look ! =]

Hello everyone!

One of my friends just got married this weekend and I had the honor of being one of her bridesmaids. We were responsible for our own hair, make-up, nails, and etc. Truth be told, I'm not good in any of those areas but I definitely love being creative! So I decided to create a simple look for my nails as pictured below. I got tons of compliments :) which is always good.

I'll have pictures up of my hair once I get a hold of it. Sadly, I didn't take any pictures of it ... so if I see any I'll have them posted :)

Products Used:

Sally Hansen Double Duty Strengthening Base & Top Coat

Wet n Wild Wild Shine - Dreamy Poppy

CQ - French White

L.A Colors Art Deco - Silver Glitter (couldn't find the actual name -___-')

Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear - Peach Daiquiri (you can't really see it but it's my top coat)

I absolutely loved the Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme War as my top coat because it not only give it a nice shine but it's a good twist than a typical clear coat on top. It really gave it a really nice shine to my nails with a hint of coral glitter. LOVE IT!

Hope this inspires some people to do some nail are :)

Enjoy!
