New Product! Sassy Nails Crackle Glaze Review

Hello everyone!

I came across this amazing product about a year ago and ever since then I've been getting so many compliments so I decided that I'll do a quick review on it and share it with everyone :) .

So the product that I absolutely love is dun dun dun Sassy Nails Crackle Glaze!

Here's a quick tutorial of what I did to achieve this look :)

Step 1: Apply a clear coat to protect your nails from turning yellow :)

Step 2: Apply 2 coats of any base coat of your choice, here I chose silver.

Step 3: Apply a THIN layer of your Sassy Nails Crackle Glaze, color here is Midnight Purple

Step 4: Let it dry!

Voila!!! Here is your masterpiece! :)

Here are several tips when using the product:

  • When applying the Sassy Nails Crackle Glaze be sure to apply a very THIN layer, I find that using a thin layer is best because when the polish is thicker the polish doesn't crack as much.
  • After applying the Sassy Nails Crackle Glaze I like to use a hairdryer to blow dry my nails. By doing so, I've realized that the results of the cracks are definitely more shattered and spread out.

With that said I definitely recommend this product to everyone :) it is a bit pricey though. I purchased this at the mall for about $15 bucks and it is time consuming to use but it's definitely a good investment :)

Let me know how it goes for you too! I'd love to hear about it :)

Enjoy!!!

Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion Review

Hey everyone!

I just finished the very last bit of this product last week and decided to do a quick review on it :)
Clinique's Dramatically Moisturizing Lotion

$24.50

Overview: Initially, I had purchased this product because I've used it back in the day in high school and loved it! It was moisturizing and kept my skin super soft. However, since high school my skin has changed and has been more oily and acne prone. As a result, this product has not worked as wonderfully as it has in the past.

Here's a little background about this particular product. I went to Ulta to pick up some makeup because I wanted to try out something new and at the time I had some acne :( booo!! The worker there had helped me match my skin to see which shade was best for me and noticed that I had some acne so she asked me what moisturizer I was using. I proceeded on telling her that I was using the Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion and she completely freaked out! Turns out that she used to work for Clinique and apparently the 3 Step System that Clinique has is one of the worst products that they offer and the worst product that I can use. She didn't comment on the cleanser but she did comment on the toner and moisturizer.

Toner Comment: The toner is apparently nothing but alcohol which doesn't really do anything but dry up your skin.

Moisturizer Comment: Is filled with oils which is horrible for acne prone skin because it will only clog up your pores and contribute to more acne. She had also mentioned that it has the same ingredients as Jergen's Body Lotion, yikes! To be honest I didn't research the ingredients and compared them but it totally freaked me out. As she had advised, stop using it immediately ... and I totally did!

As a result she recommended me another product which I have started using but I'll save that for another post when I have finished using it :)

Back to the review! As soon as I stopped using the Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion my acne had started to reside. I was amazed! I suppose I didn't really think about my moisturizer contributing to my acne. The reason why is because the lotion didn't make me break out more but it didn't help with minimizing my acne. Also, I was trying to finish up the product so I didn't really think much of it. Since I don't like wasting products what I ended up doing is using it on my neck instead of my face and have officially completely finished the product! Yay!

Pros: Definitely moisturizing, product is affordable.

Cons: Does not help with existing acne.

Verdict/Recommendation: I would definitely not repurchase this product just because it didn't help with my acne and of course because I'm a bit traumatized by the Ulta workers comment about it having the same ingredients as Jergen's body lotion, funny thing is that I'm actually currently using the Jergen's Body Lotion LOL, what are the odds of that!

I'm not sure if there are any difference with the gel form of this product but I'm not sure if I would try it out. Maybe sometime in the future?

Welps, please feel free to let me know if you have any recommendations or even products that I should try! :)

Happy New Year!

Hey everyone!

I hope that everyone had an enjoyable, safe, and fun New Years!

It's a brand new year and a new start. I hope that everyone haven't broken their New Year's Resolution yet :)

I just realized that I didn't come up with New Year's Resolution this year ... bummer ... but here it is :)

For the new year I've decided that my 3 New Year's Resolutions are the following:

1. Be more optomistic

With all this time in my hands lately it has really given me the opportunity to evaluate virtually everything in my life and I've noticed that lately I lost a little bit of myself. I was being so pessimistic and just unhappy with things. My temper fluctuates and I hate this side of me. So for the new year, I'm going to work on being more optomistic and not sweating the small stuff.

2. Take more pictures

I constantly tell myself this that I don't take enough pictures! I go out with my friends and come back with like 4 pictures and a good chance that they are all pictures of food are pretty darn high. So I strive to take more pictures and capture as many memories as I possibly can. It's difficult to stop the fun and take pictures though lols

3. Be more consistent

If you've read my previous post you would know that one of the things that I lack in life is consistency. This can be applied to literally everything that I do, and this year I'm definitely going to be more consistent on the things to do instead of just giving up.

So there you have it :) my New Year's Resolution.

What are some of your New Year's Resolution? Anything exciting? :)

Welps, have fun everyone!!!
